If you want to change your life you need to challenge your life

You keep the practice alive by showing up for yourself. Like a journal of moving poetry, this is the practice. Like poetry, sometimes it’s clunky and choppy, cutting in and out. Other times it’s a hymn, a song and dance with breath, seeping in to the bones. Every element recruited from earth, air, water, and fire. This practice, rather genre of vinyasa, will feel like waves with peaks and curls and swirls and crashes, always receding back into resting tides. I like this rhythm and style of play. There’s a rush in the build-up and an expansive release. It is up to me to give in to its fluctuations and sensations that challenge me so. I am sure to practice what I preach, challenging myself as I do in classes with others. This co-creation of dedication. We are in this together. We are stronger together.
Encouraging this: if you want to change your life, you need to challenge your life.
I am changing and challenging myself everyday and my hope is to take your hand in mine to encourage your change and challenge within.
Let us be curious to the changes ahead. Come alive, right here and now, anything less is too small. #yogaeverydamnday
