Make it hot!

I love, love, love (did I say, "love?") making my own salad dressings. It's not something I really know how to do and I certainly don't think that one needs to buy dressing or even know how to actually make one. It's so easy, all you need is your tasty-tastebuds and a little digging in the pantry and refrigerator. Here is today's mix!

Now that we are smack in the middle of a summer and this week another scorching heat-wave, I love adding overly ripened fruit or berries to my dressing. It adds just the right amount of sweetness to my spice for life on salads, spring rolls, and the occasional turkey burger. 

Today's tasty dressing: 
Avocado oil
California balsamic vinegar 
Sriracha (always a staple in our house, kind of like chocolate but different)
Chopped garlic
Fresh basil
Red onion
Orange (from our friendly neighbor's giving tree)
Fresh raspberries

Chop it, mix it, shake it, taste it. 



Wobble-wobble. Shaky-shaky.
